Community Programs
Children from diverse backgrounds gain early exposure to exciting ideas, opportunities and career paths through partnerships with schools and community organizations.
Our after-school Science Minors Clubs and Science Minors and Science Achievers youth development programs extend science engagement beyond the Museum and into schools and neighborhoods.

- These young people learn about science, make friends and meet professionals in science careers while sharing information about exhibits with Museum guests.

- Our after-school and Saturday Science Minors Clubs help increase science literacy for 8- to 13-year-olds throughout the Chicagoland area.

- What could be more fun than spending the night under a real 727, nestled near a fairy castle, or steps from a toy-making factory.
